What’s new in ImbaAim

What each release changes for you when you play. The trainer is in closed beta and it is free for everyone at 1.0.

ImbaAim 0.12.1Updated What’s new →
0.12.1 · four of four modes standing1.0 · free for all
  1. 0.12.1Current

Pressure health now has one clear home in the HUD.

    • The CS-style health panel updates with incoming damage instead of showing a second health counter.
  2. 0.12.0

Defend B now offers an optional live-fire Pressure mode.

    • Keep Focus mode for calm repetitions, or turn Pressure on so attackers return fire after they see you.
    • Six levels change the first-shot window, aim recovery, spread and burst cadence.
    • Incoming shots have their own quieter rifle report, with health and damage feedback during the round.
  3. 0.11.1

AK-47 firing has a fuller, more varied voice.

    • Three distinct rifle reports rotate through a spray instead of repeating one short sound.
  4. 0.11.0

Defend B adds varied entries and flashbangs.

    • Opponents take different paths and check angles while moving, with varied teammate spacing.
    • Some coordinated entries use flashbangs. Turn away or use cover, then reacquire your target.
    • Solo entries, mixed entries and pairs keep their distinct focus.
  5. 0.10.0

Defend B is now a complete round: hold the site through escalating waves.

    • Win by resolving every wave; three escaped attackers lose the round.
    • Animated training opponents turn and move with their routes, with matching body hits.
    • A live wave counter, escape warnings and a clear result make the next attempt easy.
  6. 0.9.1

Move through your warm-up: peek, stop, shoot and reposition.

    • WASD movement, crouching and jumping in Warm-up and Defend B.
    • Three stages guide peeking, moving with the entry and changing angle between pairs.
    • Your result shows how often you fired while moving.
  7. 0.9.0

Three focused ways to practise: warm up, hold B, or control your spray.

    • A simpler start: choose your training and rifle, with mouse and display settings one click away.
    • Warm-up progresses from first shots to mixed entries and target switches on Dust2 B.
    • Defend B: opponents enter from tunnels with short peeks, wide peeks and running entries. Practise singles or pairs.
    • Spray control offers guided practice and an unassisted test.
    • Practice results show stopped entries, escapes and which movement needs another session.
    • Smoother recoil and camera updates while aiming or holding still.
  8. 0.8.0

More reliable body hits and more consistent defenders on repeat peeks.

    • Guided entry: three phases with 1?5 CTs each, starting at one. Clear a phase to open its training barrier; cleared areas stay empty. Free entry remains available.
    • Defenders track movement and fire in bursts. Easier levels aim less accurately and take longer to adjust; direction and stance changes can throw off their shots.
    • Exposed arms register hits even when the head is behind cover.
    • Taking damage has a red pulse and impact sound. Death has a clear transition before the result.
    • Hits on the visible shins and boots now count, including running targets. The gap between the shins no longer counts as a hit.
    • Aim feedback recognises the body as well as the head.
    • Briefly ducking behind cover no longer gives a defender a full new reaction window. A longer break still resets it, and no shots are stored up behind cover.
    • Difficulty reaction times are unchanged. Previous scoring baselines are kept separate from this update.
  9. 0.7.0

The results screen is built. Every run now ends on numbers you can check, including where you stand against professional reactions.

    • Your reaction is put beside the professional percentiles on the same clock they are measured on: from the moment the enemy could be seen to the moment your bullet leaves. Not your first mouse movement, which would have flattered you by a level or two.
    • Where your bullets landed, split across head, chest, stomach and legs, counted against the hit volumes that decide the damage.
    • The round told in order, kill by kill, on two clocks: how far into the round it happened, and how long that enemy had been visible.
    • Which defender position kills you most, and how often each entry ends with the site cleared — tallied across your runs, with the number of runs printed beside it.
    • Progress against your own first sessions, kept per resolution. Changing resolution starts its own baseline instead of pretending the two are comparable.
    • A panel that cannot answer yet says so and says what it is waiting for. None of them draws a trend through three points.
  10. 0.6.0

Difficulty now means something you can check: every level is a percentile of how fast professionals actually answer.

    • Six difficulty levels instead of four, and each one says what it is — Normal is the median professional reaction, Pro is faster than nine out of ten of them.
    • The numbers behind those levels were rebuilt on a far larger body of professional play, so the fast end of the ladder is no longer guesswork.
    • The hardest level stops where human reaction stops. There is no setting that asks you to beat biology.
    • Defenders still pre-fire the angles professionals pre-fire — that stayed faithful to the game. What changed is that it no longer distorts what a difficulty level claims about you.
  11. 0.5.0

Attack the bombsite is playable, and the defenders finally behave like the ones in a real match.

    • Attack the bombsite: you pick the entry and how many CT hold the site. Where they stand is drawn on the server, so nothing in your browser knows the answer before you do.
    • Defenders arrive in waves of one to three, and never in the spot the last wave was cleared from. The round ends on the last kill, not on a timer.
    • Headshots register the way they do in the game. The top of the head counts.
    • Enemies take positions professionals actually hold on this bombsite.
    • Damage comes from the game's own files. Two numbers that circulate online turned out to be wrong, both on the M4A1-S.
    • AK-47, M4A4 and M4A1-S recoil re-measured against the current CS2 build.
    • The trainer has its own version again: this number moves when the TRAINER changes, not when the shop does.

The trainer shipped for months before it had a version of its own — until September 2026 it carried the shop's number, which changed whether or not anything here did. This list starts at 0.12.1, the first release on the trainer's own axis, and grows from here.
