CS2 Boosting

There is no particular day for the release, but we know that CS2 will launch somewhere in the Summer of 2023. In the meantime,, we have closed beta, so everyone can be invited depending on many factors. There are also on the internet cs2 builds to download to play locally with bots. If you are not in a rush, wait until summer for a final release.

There is no simple solution on how to get into beta, as we know Valve can send access to beta for all cs:go users looking at their recent playtime on Valve official servers, trust factor, and Steam account standing. Valve has confirmed that Counter-Strike 2 will be free-to-play, so we will not have to buy anything to enjoy the game.

Yes. Skins and markets are massive parts of Valve's revenue. The cosmetic skin system will be implemented in cs2, so all your skins remain in cs2. Valve will not abandon them as they are a big part of their business model, and letting them into cs2 will show that skins investment is safe and reliable.

Valve did not publish any cs2 requirements, but looking at the company politics that all the features like skins and market will be a transition into cs2 same as all accounts will get cs2 for free, it means that Valve is aiming into old cs:go players to move them all to cs2 that represents the requirements of cs:go will be similar to cs 2. If you can play cs:go then it will also be possible to play cs2.

As a reminder, here are the cs:go requirements:

Minimum system requirements for Windows

  • OS: Windows® 7/Vista/XP
  • Processor: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E6600 or AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 processor or better
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: Video card must be 256 MB or more and should be DirectX 9-compatible with support for Pixel Shader 3.0
  • DirectX: Version 9.0c
  • Storage: 15 GB available space

Minimum system requirements for macOS

  • OS: MacOS X 10.11 (El Capitan) or later
  • Processor: Intel Core Duo Processor (2GHz or better)
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 2400 or better / NVIDIA 8600M or better
  • Storage: 15 GB available space

Minimum system requirements for SteamOS+Linux

  • OS: Ubuntu 12.04
  • Processor: 64-bit Dual core from Intel or AMD at 2.8 GHz
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8600/9600GT, ATI/AMD Radeon HD2600/3600 (Graphic Drivers: NVIDIA 310, AMD 12.11), OpenGL 2.1
  • Storage: 15 GB available space
  • Sound Card: OpenAL Compatible Sound Card

Imbaboost has provided boosting since 2013. When CS2 releases a new competitive system, we will offer cs2 boost. As the game is in the beta phase, there is still tiny information on how the system will work. We don't know if we still have the Trust Factor system or if Valve will release a more dedicated feature to match the players. Suppose Valve manages to provide good competitive leagues and deal with cheaters. In that case, faceit will have some problems as in cs:go most highly competitive players prefer to play there than Valve competitive matches, which are full of cheaters. I hope we get in cs2 HWID + IP bans that would help a lot with the problem of cheaters or limit them.
