In its new patch for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Valve made some big changes, mainly by taking a first step toward a better matchmaking experience. Valve decided to do a beta test on CS:GO PRIME ACCOUNT MATCHMAKING. As we understand it, CS:GO is running an experiment to find out whether players will have a better matchmaking experience. You can link your phone to one account to make it a PRIME ACCOUNT. If you own multiple CS:GO accounts, you have to upgrade your favorite one, since you can only upgrade one CS:GO account to Prime status using your qualifying phone number. Once there are enough Prime accounts, they will begin Prime Account Matchmaking, which will help players avoid smurfs and cheaters who switch accounts more often. With a Prime Account, you will queue with other Prime Account players, which will help you to avoid low-quality accounts made for rage-hacking or smurfs. Fighting with cheats is hard, so if you want to play with legit and registered players on main accounts – PRIME ACCOUNT status may be exactly what you need. Someone, somewhere, will be prepping a crate of SIM cards, but the new system is still a big step forward to avoid cheaters who play with or against us.
Prime Account Matchmaking
The new Prime Account status will unlock PRIME ACCOUNT MATCHMAKING for us and start to prioritize matching Prime status players with each other. This can be a game changer: it will help fight smurfs and other cheaters who are using low-tier accounts without Prime Status. We can only hope that Prime Accounts will be developed in the future, along with some other extras. There’s also the possibility that Valve will start charging for prime status after Beta, but that remains to be seen. Prime Matchmaking is for sure a great step toward a better matchmaking experience. It’s nice to see Valve care about community matchmaking players and their problems with a growing number of smurfs and cheaters. Even if that solution will not eliminate these players from the game it will isolate them from us so we can really enjoy the game. Let’s hope that in the near future it will also bring us 128-tick servers so we can play and experience the game the way it was meant to be played and experienced. I suggest we should all embrace the idea of Prime Accounts and join the beta in the biggest numbers possible
Prime accounts boost the trust factor, the same as csgo commend service. All active users use prime accounts as it’s a positive verification of the account that impacts the trust factor.
